Healthy Living: Healthy Eating - 5 Steps On The Road To Morocco.

Every once and a while you just want to make a meal that's easy, quick, and low in fat and cholesterol.  Here's a tip for making a chicken-based meal that is consistent with a diet based on healthy eating, and will let you spice up your palate on the way.

To make a Moroccan style chicken dish quickly, follow these 5 easy steps:
  1. Start with several frozen grilled chicken breast chunks (I like Tyson brand).  They're fully cooked and frozen.  Microwave for 1 to 2 and a half minutes (depending on number of pieces)
  2. Take one package of Moroccan style Chicken With Chickpeas soup (I use Campell's in the bag).
  3. Heat the soup in the microwave and pour over warmed grilled chicken chunks.
  4. You can heat up some white or brown rice and put chicken and soup mixture over the rice.
  5. Add some Moroccan hot olive mixture on the side for added olive oil health goodness.
The key to heart health is that the chicken chunks are 98% fat free and the soup contains only 1.5 grams of fat.  The taste is great and you can leave the guilt behind.

If you have recipes for fat-free heart health, let me know.  Best of luck on your road to Morocco, or to healthy living, or to healthy eating, or to wherever.  Stay hungry my friends.
